The Colleague of the Month Award is an inclusive reward scheme that SNSG are proud to be a part of.

We rely on positive feedback from fellow colleagues and client’s about SNSG staff. Any colleagues that are nominated are presented with a letter and are entered into a monthly prize draw. We at SNSG like to recognise and reward colleagues who go above and beyond and value people who ‘go the extra mile’.

    Daymion Hylton

    Despite receiving this award over a year ago, Daymion continues to be an outstanding colleague. He has managed and trained the control and communication staff as well as inducted newbies despite being on the day or night shift. Daymion continues to go above and beyond and is completely deserving of this award.

    Liam Grant – Events officer

    Liam was nominated by a Commonwealth Games Volunteer who said;

    ‘I was a Volunteer at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games venue – the Sandwell Aquatics Centre.

    Liam showed to me that he can master the balance between being alert and spectator safety oriented as well as contributing towards the culture of the Games by being friendly, smiling and answering questions about where the toilets are countlessly.’

    SNSG would also echo this, we are proud to have Liam in the SNSG family.

    Raham Nur - Control and Communications Officer

    Rahma has been a welcomed edition to SNSG. We have been impressed with her resilience and front footed approach towards new and challenging tasks. Rahma has engaged in overtime and covering ‘hot spot’ shifts in control which really stretched her skills , but she was able to gain positive outcomes.

    Christopher Potts – SNSG’s external training provider

    hristopher (seen in this picture in the middle of the top row) has received lots of excellent feedback from SNSG trainees, he goes above and beyond to deliver training that is realistic and relevant. Christopher also delivered ‘last minute’ training which really helped SNSG throughout the 2022 Commonwealth Games

    Michael Starkey was nominated for his commitment to SNSG and Souflett Malt UK, even whilst progressing through a difficult and upsetting time with the death of his beloved wife, Michael assisted by way of covering additional shifts and last minute roster changes

    Mo Jawad

    Mo Jawad is SNSG’s January 2022 Colleague of the Month. Mo is a long-standing member of the Mobile Patrol team who is the lead in training new mobile patrol officers. He has done a fantastic job to date; this award is a small thank you in recognition of his hard work. Well done Mo!

    Andrea received this award for ensuring that a vulnerable woman received the best possible mental health care following a simple ‘ hello, are you ok?’ whilst on her marshalling walk. Just shows, the simplest of actions can make a real difference.

    Not only has Kristen been nominated for this month’s COMA – he has also been nominated for Security Guard of the year 2021. Kristen prevented a gas explosion on a residential site which would have resulted in injuries and or fatalities.
