We believed then, and still do today, that we can create local jobs for local people and train all of our employees to a higher standard than the industry expects.
Night-time economies are an important part of our towns and cities and SafetyNet Security Group has a proven ability to provide professional security and welfare solutions to businesses operating within this unique industry.
The vast majority of people enjoy a night out safely and sensibly. However, the night-time economy can be associated with issues, predominantly around alcohol fuelled violence and crime and anti-social behaviour. SafetyNet Security Group was formed in 2003 by Otis Hanley (CEO) in response to a clear need for enhanced security professionals offering distinct customer service skills within the night-time economy. We believed then, and still do today, that we can create local jobs for local people and train all of our employees to a higher standard than the industry expects, resulting in positive engagement in every aspect.
Clearly, addressing the various challenges that present themselves in the night-time economy is not something that our clients and local authorities can do alone but SafetyNet Security Group have and continue to play a key role in adapting to suit the demands faced, always ensuring that our partners customers are treated with the upmost importance.
We have naturally evolved throughout the years, developing great understanding of Door Supervision and associated responsibilities. We have been involved in many local partnership schemes that have been in existence for a number of years, working closely with local authorities, police, and the licensed trade. Through this partnership working we have further developed our own in -house training to ensure that our employees are kept update and current with both national and local issues and concerns such as; welfare and vulnerability engagement (WAVE), child sexual exploitation (CSE), and Counter Terrorism Awareness.
